In the year 622 AD (on a hill just outside of Mecca) a demonically charismatic leader commanded his followers that (from this day forward) war will be waged on those who reject my word (Sira,p.208).
This draconian command--issued by the Prophet Muhammad--unleashed a tsunami of violence that (to this day) is literally unparalleled in world history.
From the eradication of the Jewish tribe of Quraiza (at the hands of the Prophet himself) to the Armenian Genocide to the Final Solution to the Sudanese Genocide to 9/11 and beyond--Islam has cut a swath of profound misery that is forever etched in the psyche of mankind.
