Do we really need the US Department of Education? After all--US students achieved their highest S.A.T scores (1963) long before the department ever existed.
In fact--the only thing to rise since its creation is the dropout rate.
Yet (given the facts) President Obama wants to give this failed Leviathan $68 billion dollars for the 2012 fiscal year.
Just another episode of "The Taxpayer And The Big Enema."
