Let's be honest: If our government wasn't so hyper-concerned about affronting Muslim sensibilities--the War on Terror (by now) would be winding down. The fixation over not offending the followers of Allah has not only prohibited us from deploying such lethal military tactics as Shock and Awe, but has also prohibited us (due to feckless rules of engagement) from eradicating the enemy in Afghanistan.
This overstimulated concern is a direct manifestation of Islamic shrewdness. In the immediate aftermath of 9/11--American Muslims purposely claimed that they were a persecuted minority, thus reaching for (and achieving) victimhood status. A status that not only showers them with copious amounts of sympathy--but more significantly--prevents any substantive dialogue about the violent and baneful nature of Koranic doctrine.
Islamic shrewdness: It's a killer.

The liberals in this country are dispicible. They turn their heads the other way rather than face the harsh truth about what is happening around them. This 'tolerance and pacifism' has to stop now. Either assimilate or vacate our USA.
