VACUOUS SELF-PROMOTER

Liberal columnist Rich Cohen recently scribbled the following question concerning Barack Obama: "Who is this guy?"

Well, if Mr. Cohen had done his jobs properly (by thoroughly vetting Obama) instead of feverishly using his position to contrive an historic moment--he would have discovered that the cheese line/community organizer from Chicago was nothing more than a vacuous self-promoter.

ISLAMIC SHREWDNESS: IT'S A KILLER

Let's be honest: If our government wasn't so hyper-concerned about affronting Muslim sensibilities--the War on Terror (by now) would be winding down. The fixation over not offending the followers of Allah has not only prohibited us from deploying such lethal military tactics as Shock and Awe, but has also prohibited us (due to feckless rules of engagement) from eradicating the enemy in Afghanistan.

This overstimulated concern is a direct manifestation of Islamic shrewdness. In the immediate aftermath of 9/11--American Muslims purposely claimed that they were a persecuted minority, thus reaching for (and achieving) victimhood status. A status that not only showers them with copious amounts of sympathy--but more significantly--prevents any substantive dialogue about the violent and baneful nature of Koranic doctrine.

Islamic shrewdness: It's a killer.

OBAMA WILL NEVER BE THE MAN

The most germane fact surrounding the McChrystal resignation is this: What the general said about President Obama (and his hacks) was absolutely true. Unfortunately the commander of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan picked the wrong venue by which to vent.

That said, Obama will never be the man McChrystal is: A valiant and intrepid warrior who place love of country over self-aggrandizement.

WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND AN ANSWER!

According to a recent Homeland Security report--there are approximately 500 "deportable aliens" from Pakistan living in our country. So--given the irrefutable fact that Pakistan is a literal hotbed of terrorist activity (including myriad training camps)--why isn't the Obama Administration making rounding-up these individuals a top priority?

We the people demand an answer!

COMMON SENSE TAKES A BACKSEAT

Common sense would dictate that if President Obama expended more energy (and resources) on stopping the oil flow in the Gulf--rather than exploiting the disaster to push through his nanny-state agenda (think cap and trade)--the situation could be brought to a final resolution.

Unfortunately for us (when it comes to Obama) common sense takes a backseat to glaring arrogance and the politics of personal ideology.

WHAT A TURKEY!

Turkey's nefarious hand in the flotilla plot against Israel points to its blatant willingness to aid and abet one of the world's most infamous Islamic terrorist organizations--Hamas. Manifestly the former Ottoman Empire is seeking to reassert itself as the dominant Muslim force in the region.

This NATO 'ally' has labored assiduously to frustrate (not to mention embarrass) America. From prohibiting US forces entry into northern Iraq from its southern frontier to running interference for Iran as it seeks to develop nuclear weapons--Turkey has moved away from Kemalism to all things Allah.

But the most disquieting aspect of this situation is President Obama's refusal to even issue Turkey a tepid rebuke. In fact, to this day--Obama continues to shower Ankara with rhetorical niceties and hyper-apologies.

NON-PROFITS: MY A**!

Next time you hear a liberal trumpeting the efficacy and magnanimity of non-profit organizations, kindly remind him that the nation's largest non-profit (at an operating cost of nearly one trillion dollars annually) is an utter disaster.

Of course I'm referring to the public school system--which is not only a fever swamp of gross ineptitude and fecklessness--but is also a hotbed of fraud, waste and abuse.

PROLIFIC WINDBAG

The President's speech last night was nothing more than a prosaic infomercial for solar and wind technology (as well as cap and trade). The truth is--such technology (at best) has proven to be extremely sporadic. Let's face it: even a tireless and prolific windbag like Obama has to give it a rest every now and then.

YA THINK!

For all of Obama's efforts to assuage, coddle and appease the Islamic Republic of Iran, Tehran is not only forging new anti-American alliances (think Brazil, Turkey, Venezuela, China and Russia)--but it also much closer to being able to produce a mushroom cloud over Jerusalem.

Well, it seems olive branch diplomacy (kissing an Islamo-tyrant between the back pockets) hasn't gone over so well?

HELLISH FLAMES OF ALLAH

The truth can be insidiously painful, but if our government continues to view Islam as a benign doctrine--our nation will be consumed by the hellish flames of Allah.

What our leaders either fail to understand, or completely ignore--is that Islam (period) is not only a religion, but also a political system based on Islamic law (Sharia). This system is so draconian and brutal in nature that it offers all non-Muslims only one of three choices: Either convert, be enslaved or be executed (think Ottoman Empire and Andalusia).

Seventy years ago, those in leadership didn't hesitate to call Nazism an evil dogma. Unless the same courage (concerning Islam) can be leveraged today by the political vanguard in DC--America will surely be consumed.

NOT REPUBLICANS

Could the reason the Dodd bill neglects to address "too big to fail" is because over 75 percent of Wall Street's political contributions (in 2008) went to Democrats? It seems (contrary to popular opinion ) that it's actually the Dems who are in bed with Wall Street honchos--not Republicans.

A DANGEROUS WORLD

Barack Obama's palpable disdain for Israel has done nothing to dissuade the Tyrants of Tehran from their nuclear ambitions. In fact, it has resulted in the complete opposite: Emboldening the Islamic Republic to step-up its march towards proliferation.

As OIB has explicitly mentioned in previous posts: A feeble president equals a dangerous world.

Those who adhere to the liberal notion that privation is the perfect breeding ground for Islamo-terrorists ignore the incontestable fact that Osama bin Laden's net worth (at the time of 9/11) was an estimated $300 million.

RUTHLESS IDEOLOGUE

Beyond the obvious illegalities of the Sestak issue lies the quintessential question: Is Barack Obama the Political Messiah he claimed to be while on the campaign trial?

The answer--even if you happen to be a Democrat with limited cognition--should be a resounding NO!

Obama has not only engaged in the much maligned practice of "politics as usual"--but has elevated it to a hyper-virulent level never witnessed before in American politics.

The Sestak affair not only explicitly demonstrates that Obama is exactly what he claimed not to be --a typical politico--but also chillingly shows that he might well be the most manipulative, venal and ruthless ideologue in our nation's history.

HYPER-FANTASY

Moderate Islam is a hyper-fantasy created by spineless politicos, serial appeasers and leftist academics who labor feverishly to convince us that on 9/11 Islam was hijacked by a horde of twisted, radical extremists.

Memo to above mentioned groups: We the people will NEVER be convinced.

A FEEBLE PRESIDENT

A feeble president can create a volatile and hostile global environment in which our allies (witness the flotilla plot against Israel) can be targeted for brutal extinction. And due to rabid capitulations and feckless apologies offered abroad (think Turkey and Egypt)--we are seeing exactly that with Obama.

EXPEL THIS ISLAMO-BELIGERENT

Turkey's growing Islamic militancy is becoming increasingly manifest. From aiding and abetting Iran's nuclear program to orchestrating the recent flotilla machination against Israel--the former Ottoman Empire is sending an explicit message that Sharia should be the new rule of law.

Now is the time to expel this Islamo-beligerent from NATO.

I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IT

The substantive question--concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict--remains a simple one: Will the West ever arrive at the manifest conclusion that the Palestinians will never acknowledge Israel's right to exist?

I seriously doubt it.
